Jeannie L. Johnson is a Professor of Political Science at Utah State University. She focuses on the strategic impact of national and organizational cultures on security policy. She directs the university's Center for Anticipatory Intelligence, which blends national security knowledge with technology education and partners with government and industry. Dr. Johnson’s research includes strategic culture's role in US national and military policies, and her published works discuss cultures within military contexts, including a book with a foreword by former Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis. Prior to academia, she worked at the CIA and US State Department where she developed analytic methods that have influenced intelligence analysis.
